Anna-Lina Mattar, born in Germany and raised in Artà, is the author of the Cool Days Festival 2024 poster. Graduated in Sociology from the University of Barcelona, she studied Illustration at Escola Massana in the Catalan capital , where she currently lives combining work in her own workshop with other tasks. In one of her last visits to Artà, where her father and mother live, she took part in MercatArt, which coincidentally opened the door to Cool Days.

The conceptual idea of the festival direction was to express emotions through culture. How culture is the tool we have to reflect and enjoy the block that people often have when it comes to expressing emotions and feelings. That is why they suggested the image of the three graces, from Greek mythology, which are three divinities associated with beauty and love. The starting point is the painting ‘The Three Graces’, by Rubens, maintaining its gestural composition, brought to the current era, with current clothes but also with the typical clothes of the location, representing three friends who, strangers to the surroundings and carefree, all they want is to dance and have fun focusing on themselves.
